Real Estate Transactions Associate Attorney
West Palm Beach (alternate options: Miami or Fort Lauderdale)

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Transactions Associate to join a dynamic, full-service law firm with a nationally recognized real estate practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value commercial real estate matters in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

The Opportunity

The firm is looking for an associate with 2–5 years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will participate in all stages of deals—from inception through closing—across acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, joint ventures, development projects, and financings.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex real estate transactions under partner supervision

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, joint venture documents, and financing instruments

  • Coordinate due diligence across title, survey, zoning, environmental, and corporate matters

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients to ensure smooth execution of transactions

Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials

  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Florida

Location
  • Primary: West Palm Beach

  • Alternate offices: Miami or Fort Lauderdale
