About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Real Estate & Corporate Paralegal to join a growing legal team in Chicago. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to support sophisticated real estate transactions and corporate matters while working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate deeds, closing documents, escrow instructions, and other transactional documents
  • Conduct title and survey review for commercial and residential real estate transactions
  • Assist with due diligence efforts and transaction management
  • File UCC financing statements and perform corporate searches
  • Order title commitments, lien searches, litigation searches, and certificates of good standing
  • Support formation and maintenance of corporate entities, LLCs, and partnerships
  • Prepare organizational documents, annual filings, and EIN applications
  • Draft, edit, format, and redline legal documents
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and document management systems
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of real estate and/or corporate paralegal experience
  • Experience with title review, surveys, closings, and loan documentation
  • Prior law firm, title company, or financial institution experience required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Paralegal certificate preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
