Job Summary:
Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team partners with private equity firms, strategic buyers, lenders, and business owners through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital transactions. We are seeking an Experienced Transaction Advisory Associate to join our growing team and contribute to high-impact financial due diligence engagements.
The Experienced Transaction Advisory Associate will support financial due diligence engagements across a variety of industries, assisting clients in evaluating acquisition targets, identifying key business drivers, and analyzing financial performance. This role offers significant exposure to M&A transactions, private equity-backed businesses, and business owners while providing opportunities for professional growth and client interaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Transaction Advisory Associate, you will:
  • Assist with financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
  • Perform quality of earnings, EBITDA, and revenue analyses to identify key trends and risks.
  • Analyze net working capital, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow drivers.
  • Evaluate revenue recognition practices and identify potential accounting or operational risks.
  • Conduct gross margin and profitability analyses across products, customers, and business segments.
  • Perform cash-to-accrual conversions and other accounting normalization adjustments.
  • Assist with payroll, inventory, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze customer and vendor concentrations and evaluate related business impacts.
  • Investigate significant income statement and balance sheet fluctuations.
  • Organize, manage, and track client data requests throughout due diligence engagements.
  • Support data room management and document collection efforts.
  • Import, cleanse, and analyze large data sets utilizing Excel and other analytical tools.
  • Prepare financial due diligence databooks, schedules, and client-ready deliverables.
  • Assist in drafting due diligence reports and presentation materials for clients and transaction stakeholders.
  • Participate in client meetings and engagement discussions with management teams.
  • Support business development initiatives, networking events, and relationship-building activities.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA license, CPA candidate, or progress toward certification preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, Deal Advisory, Audit, Valuation, Financial Due Diligence, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience performing financial statement analysis and transaction-related procedures preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience working with large financial data sets and financial modeling preferred.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts.
  • Ability to travel as client and engagement needs require.
