Summary
As a Senior Transaction Manager, you'll provide high-quality transaction and account support as well as financial, market and portfolio analytics to inform and support our clients' real estate decision making. Armed with exceptional analytical and organizational skills and an eye for details, you're a natural leader and problem solver who constantly seeks to achieve better results.
Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation of portfolio plans that align with client's real estate goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with brokerage professionals to ensure effective negotiations of business terms for a wide variety of transactions including lease, sale, sublease and purchase
  • Manage the flow of key documentation and client communications
  • Oversee revenue tracking of all transactions
  • Maintain database of transaction activity
  • Ensure accuracy of all transaction reports
  • Present transaction activity to client
  • Lead and/or facilitate client meetings
  • Assist in measuring transactional performance
  • Coordinate negotiations and management of transactions
  • Coordinate legal review of all client leased/owned documents
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data and reporting
  • Review lease documents, write lease summaries and abstracts and review other materials as part of the due diligence process
  • Deliver on client-driven priorities, tracking progress and milestones
  • Experience developing analytics models and methodologies using a variety of data points to develop informed recommendations to clients
  • Ability to analyze business performance data and budgets for executive-level operations reporting
  • Review critical dates, evaluate contract options, and provide recommendations.
  • Create and implement reports including but not limited to: Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Market Comps, Business Case, Location Analysis, etc.
  • Support all transaction activity, preparing forecasts and savings results reporting
  • Apply critical thinking and market knowledge to assist with unique client-specific research requests such as strategic planning, portfolio reviews, and highest and best use analyses
  • Summarize and communicate analytic findings, insights and recommendations via executive-level summary documents and presentations.
  • Complete other client driven initiatives to support their internal real estate needs

Qualifications
  • Prior experience managing transactions for commercial real estate services
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills - attention to detail is critical
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones to accommodate global initiatives

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (or relevant industry experience)
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in commercial real estate
  • Active real estate license in state of residence
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook). Advanced MS Excel proficiency is a must.
  • Advanced proficiency in Smartsheet and Salesforce reporting preferred.
  • Experience with lease administration platforms (CoStar, Visual Lease, Lease Harbor, etc)

Physical Requirements:
  • This position will sit in office with the client 1-2 days a week
