Job description

Job Description:
The Director - Transaction Processing oversees the Payroll and Accounts Payable functions for the John Muir Health System. He/she trains and manages staff, and reviews/finalizes all Federal/State required forms. The Director updates and maintains the Payroll/AP computer systems, processes executive payroll and monitors policies and procedures compliance.
Education:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent - Preferred
  • Associate's Degree - Business Administration - Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred or
  • Experience or alternate degree may be considered in-lieu of required education

Experience:
  • 5 years Accounting - Payroll -Required
  • 2 years Management - Supervisory Position - Required
  • 3 years Accounting - Accounts Payable - Required
  • Accounting - Payroll/AP Systems - Required
  • Healthcare Setting - Preferred

Skills:
  • Knowledge of the current State and Federal payroll regulations is required.
  • Knowledge of Sales Use tax laws and W9/1099 regulations are required.
  • Microsoft Excel/Word skills.

Work Shift:
Exempt Salaried (United States of America)
Pay Range:
$202,088.00 - $303,131.00
Salary
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word 'exempt' on it.
