Sales associates are the primary customer-facing personnel who provide fast, efficient, and professional service while accurately managing transactions. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while accurately managing transactions such as wires, check cashing, loans, money orders, bill payments, and top-ups, lottery tickets and online sales. The Sales Associate is responsible for handling and balancing cash drawers, maintaining confidentiality of customer information, and ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations. Additionally, this position identifies cross-selling opportunities, provides prompt and professional assistance with customer inquiries, and proactively enhances the company’s acceptance and branding in the market.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum experience and requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must speak Spanish fluently and at least basic English communication.

  • Ability using computer’s keyboard (letters and numbers) and computer mouse.

  • Detail oriented especially when reading, writing, and counting numbers and currency.

Customer Service

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate for their needs.

Cash Management

  • Each shift associate must count and balance cash drawers, verify balance with the system, and handle cash responsibly to prevent errors and maintain accuracy. Process deposits from and to the bank. Handling of cash received and delivering by agents.

Cross-Selling

  • Identify and recommend additional company products and services that meet customer needs, cross-selling focused on meeting goals. Use available company materials (flyers or prizes) to promote and offer the company's products.

Compliance & Security

  • Comply with company, state and federal policies and regulations, maintain client confidentiality and identify and report any inappropriate or suspicious activity.

Record Keeping

  • Keep track of all shift transactions and other relevant information using the company's systems or procedures.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Support company marketing initiatives when required, such as distributing flyers, sharing promotional materials with customers, or assisting with in-store and out-of-store campaigns, always ensuring professionalism and alignment with company branding.
