Job Title: Transaction Processor Associate II

Location: East Hartford, CT (Onsite – 77 Hartland Street)

Position Type: 3-month Contract-to-Hire (Full-time, 40 hrs./week)

Time: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Position Summary:

The Transaction Processor Associate II supports high-volume transaction processing and data management within a structured administrative environment. Working under general supervision, this role involves researching, analyzing, and updating consumer information across multiple systems with accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to procedural guidelines. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven setting and demonstrates strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process case maintenance transactions accurately and within established procedural guidelines.
  • Research and evaluate consumer eligibility and update information in internal systems.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and consumers through written and verbal correspondence.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards as defined by internal quality metrics.
  • Identify, document, and correct any data or process discrepancies.
  • Support multiple administrative projects and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Uphold confidentiality and comply with all organizational policies and standards.

 

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a healthcare, government, or transaction-processing environment.
  • Familiarity with eligibility determination systems or similar database tools.
  • Experience meeting productivity and quality targets in a data-driven role.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
  • 1+ years of experience in data entry, eligibility determination, or transaction processing.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and adaptable to change.

Work Environment:

  • Onsite office environment – East Hartford, CT.
