Piper Companies is seeking a Lead Remittance Operations Associate to support disbursement processing within a fast‑paced financial services environment. The Lead Remittance Operations Associate role is ideal for an experienced operations professional who ensures complex transactions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The Lead Remittance Operations Associate is a full time role that requires you to sit on site 3 days per week in Durham, NC. Responsibilities of the Lead Remittance Operations Associate: * Process a wide range of disbursement transactions in accordance with contract provisions and regulatory guidelines. * Handle cost basis activities associated with surrender requests, ensuring all required documentation and calculations are complete and accurate. * Utilize multiple internal systems to manage daily workflow and transaction processing. * Review and approve the accuracy and completeness of transactions processed by team members. * Maintain exceptional attention to detail while processing high‑volume, repetitive work. Requirements of the Lead Remittance Operations Associate: * Bachelors Degree is Required * Prior experience in financial services operations, transaction processing, or a similar back‑office environment. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality. * Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and efficiency. * Proficiency with internal systems, workflow tools, and documentation review. * Knowledge of regulatory guidelines relevant to financial transactions preferred.
