Job description

An excellent opportunity just opened for a Corporate and Commercial Transactions Associate for a well-respected, mid-sized law firm.

This law firm is seeking a full time Corporate and Commercial Transactions Associate to join their firm to work closely with corporate clients and assist them with their legal needs. This is a terrific opportunity for a self-motivated Associate seeking sophisticated legal work with close client contact and the desire to work in a team-oriented environment.

Candidates should have experience in:
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents, including but not limited to those relating to mergers and acquisitions, forming entities, real estate, and general transactions work.
  • Assisting with the negotiation of transactions, reviewing contracts and risks and advising clients with legal recommendations and strategies as well as meeting with clients and advising them on regulations and compliance laws.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor and PA Bar Admittance is required with DE or NJ a plus with excellent academic credentials.
  • 3+ years of experience practicing commercial transaction law is required.
  • Exceptional contract drafting skills are a must.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
