Retail Sales Associate- Airport Based (ATL)
IMMEDIATE Retail Cashier openings are available for Trans-Air Concessions, LLC owned news and gift shops located at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport Airport. TAC is hiring qualified retail sales associates ASAP! All candidates must provide outstanding customer service and must be able to pass a federal background check. Health benefits, vacation, and 401k available for full time employees who pass a probationary period. Job Description:
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND EXPECTATIONS:
Must be flexible to work any day of the week, mornings or evening shifts
Ensuring that standards for quality customer service are met
Responsible for basic store maintenance (dusting and cleaning)
Friendly interaction with travelers and the public
Excellent Customer Service skills
Flexible Schedule (nights, early mornings, weekends, holidays)
Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
โ€ข Strong interpersonal and communication skills
โ€ข Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
โ€ข Ability to receive, stock, and/or transport and deliver goods
โ€ข Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
โ€ข Ability to follow company's policy and procedures Handbook
โ€ข Ability to be on your feet and perform work requiring physical abilities to lift up to 40 lbs, stand, bend, and walk for an 8-hour shift.
โ€ข Ability to work on a cash register/POS system
โ€ข Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED preferred. One-year experience directly related to retail sales, cash handling skills, and customer service is strongly recommended.

In 2008 Trans-Air partnered with HMS Host to win several locations in Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Today Trans-Air operates three Gift and News locations independently branded The โ€œAtlanta Business Chroniclesโ€ stores. They are located on T Concourse (T4 and T13) and B Concourse (B31).
