This position leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of public training programs serving adult learners and supports strategic expansion of youth programming. The Training and Professional Programs Manager is responsible for developing sequential curriculum pathways, recruiting and supporting teaching artists, and maintaining high-quality learning experiences aligned with Berkeley Rep's artistic values.
In addition, this position leads Berkeley Rep's Professional Development initiatives, designing and facilitating theatre-based workshops for businesses, schools, and community organizations throughout the Bay Area. Through applied theatre practices such as improvisation, ensemble-building, and Theatre of the Oppressed techniques, these programs support communication, collaboration, creativity, and adaptive thinking across professional environments.Â
