Job description


SAIC is currently seeking a Program Analyst located in Oahu, Hawaii to support the USPACOM J7 to produce orders, directives, and plans intended to facilitate J7 guidance for theater training and exercises, support J7 executive travel for events, and leverage appropriate tools in support to J7 staff.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Support production of orders, directives, and plans intended to facilitate J7 guidance for theater training and exercises.
  • Ensure coordination with staff and other organizations to support J7 travel for events including submission of travel arrangements through the Defense Travel System (DTS), submission of clearance or foreign travel requirements, submission of funding requests, and other administrative or logistical support as required.
  • Ensure unified action within USPACOM J7 and support communications with external organizations through preparation, review, and management of executive level (flag and general officer) correspondence.
  • Leverage appropriate tools in support of J7 staff such as Task Management System (TMS), Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), Joint Training Tool (JTT), Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Video Teleconference System, and other related databases or systems.
  • Respond or facilitate a response to Requests for Information (RFIs) submitted to the J7 team to facilitate responses to RFIs directed by J7 through the Task Management System (TMS) and other related databases or systems.
  • Support the USPACOM J7 by maintaining calendars, facilitating IM/KM requirements for meetings, and ensuring all read-ahead or reference material is available to applicable parties prior to meetings.

Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors and six (6)+ years' of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience providing support to meetings and senior leaders.
  • Experience in managing complex tasks under tight time constraints with critical thinking, independent problem solving, and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Must be Technical-Savvy with Basic IT knowledge including experience with IM/KM tools such as VTC, GVS, SharePoint, Teams, TMS, JTT desired.
  • Must have organizational skills, time management, be detail oriented, with ability to multitask.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
  • Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Must be a current US Citizen.
