Job description

CommIT Enterprises, Inc is seeking a Maintainer Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) experienced with the maintenance and configuration of MACCS family of systems (CTN, CAC2S, TBMCS, ADSI, and AFATDS). This position will be part of a maintainer training team that will analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, support, and manage training products. Additionally, this position will provide technical and analytical support, instructional support, and deliver New Equipment Training, Delta Training, On-Site Familiarization Training, and Over-the-shoulder Refresher Training for the designated MACCS family of systems. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to- * Analyze, design, and develop new training curriculum and documentation * Review, analyze, and update existing training curriculum and documentation, as needed * Identify instructional goals, analyze the target audience, and select the delivery mechanisms for effective training * Include communication mechanisms throughout the design and development of training that keeps the content engaging and collaborative * Implement Systems Approach to Training standards in training documentation and materials to achieve a consistent look and feel in the materials provided * Ensure all developed training material is in compliance with MIL-HDBK-29612/2A, Instructional Systems Development/Systems Approach to Training and Education and NAVMC 1553.1A, Systems Approach to Training and Education Handbook * Support the development or update of existing training test packages for each maintainer course of instruction * Support the development or update of existing master lesson files for each maintainer course of instruction * Conduct dry-runs, rehearsals, and technical reviews of instructional deliver to minimize training session interruptions in preparation for live training delivery * Conduct training courses consisting of various instructional methods including lecture, demonstration, and practical application * Conduct training courses utilizing multiple training techniques and tools with various media with multiple student skill levels and class sizes Required Experience and Education: * Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the maintenance and configuration MACCS family of systems, to include experience as a MACCS network administrator, integrating MACCS sensors, and configuring and maintaining radios, antennas, and other telecommunication equipment used within the MACCS * Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related scientific or technical discipline from an accredited college of university (or) additional four (4) years of USMC training experience, in lieu of bachelorโ€™s degree * Experience with the Tactical Data Framework (TDF) setup and integration * Minimum of two years of experience configuring and maintaining tactical data links * Experience in Cisco router and switch hardware and Internetwork Operating System * Experience managing operating systems within a virtual environment * Must have strong interpersonal and client-facing skills * Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Clearance: * Secret
Travel: * Up to 30%
Salary: * The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidateโ€™s relevant work experience, education, professional certifications, technical skills, required security clearance level, geographic location, and overall qualifications.
