The Role: Hospitality Manager

The Hospitality Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within Hospitality and Housekeeping, collaborating closely with our Associates, other departments, including Vendors, to ensure flawless execution of all PS service and brand standards. Assisting the Director of Hospitality in strategic thinking, planning and execution, this role will also oversee coaching and development of all associates.

This position reports to the Director of Hospitality at PS DFW.

  • Team Leadership : Supervise associates within Hospitality and Housekeeping to ensure successful execution of all daily operations, in addition to coordinating vendors for spa services.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure outstanding guest service at all times, respond to guest inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
  • Scheduling Support : Lead daily schedule publishing and collaborate with the Director of Hospitality on weekly schedules to meet business demands and ensure adequate staffing across the department
  • Staff Training and SOP Development : Schedule and facilitate new hire employee training in accordance with Department standards.
  • SOP Development & Implementation : In collaboration with Director of Hospitality,assist in SOP development and implementation.
  • Suite & Facilities Preparation : Assist and guide team in preparing suites according to department requirements, working on the floor with Associate team and ensuring all member-facing areas are maintained to luxury standards for all members and administrative activities.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards as well as company policies and industry regulations.
  • Effective Communication : Demonstrate proficiency in taking and giving instructions, both verbal and written.
  • Multitasking : Handle multiple tasks efficiently with keen attention to detail, speed, and accuracy and effective execution.
  • Recruitment and Development of Associates : Active participation in recruitment and development of associates.
  • Independent Supervision : Lead a team independently without direct supervision when applicable.
  • Innovation : Proactively contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience working around confidential and sensitive information.
  • Experience in a customer service, airline and/or hospitality industry related role.
  • Knowledge of hotel and/or restaurant operations desired.
  • Ability to focus attention on employee and member needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening + background check.
  • Collection of SSN as part of the background check process will be required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • PS is a 24-hour facility and as such we require fully open schedule availability and flexibility for all positions within our operations departments, including weekends, holidays, and early morning/late evening shifts.
