Job description

Training Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps.
  • Develop and write engaging training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and other resources.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to ensure training content is accurate and up to date.
  • Partner with the Director of Operations to deliver pilot programs and refine materials based on feedback.
  • Observe employees applying learned skills in the field and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update training records and documentation.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
Training Coordinator Qualifications:
  • Previous restaurant management experience in full-service dining.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and writing training materials.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with occasional availability on evenings and weekends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
