ROAD RANGER, L.L.C.
Job Title: Training Assistant
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports To: Director of Training, Development and Compliance
Department: Operations
Position Summary:
The Training Assistant is responsible for supporting the Training and Development department through development and implementation of the company intranet, monitoring completion rates, maintaining records, and ensuring that all company compliance requirements are met. This position will require frequent travel throughout the continental United States.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the company intranet platform.
  • Directly oversee Zenput and track completion rates and trends.
  • Upload, organize, and update training materials, SOP's and learning resources.
  • Assist with troubleshooting user access and training platform issues.
  • Monitor trends, developments and best practices to continually improve training processes and curriculum.
  • Ensure operational processes meet regulatory, legal, safety and company compliance requirements.
  • Monitor compliance metrics.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvements.
  • Assist with coordination of training events and workshops.
  • Evaluate training results as reflected in individual and organizational performance to identify and react to opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with monitoring trends, developments and best practices to continually improve training processes and curriculum.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
  • 3+ years' experience in training and development management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.

Other Qualifications:
  • Must possess strong communication skills, including oral presentation to large groups.
  • Highly professional and ethical with strong morals and integrity.
  • Must be able to maintain strict levels of confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, or electronically to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other staff members and with all levels of leadership to accomplish the goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Ability to travel regularly on Company business which can include overnight stays dependent on location and business needs
