The training and Development Specialist contributes to AHF by enhancing the knowledge, skills, and confidence of staff through intentional, culturally responsive training and capacity-building. This role supports AHF's mission by designing, implementing, and evaluating staff development programs that align with prevention goals, compliance standards, and community engagement strategies. By ensuring staff are well-prepared to serve diverse populations - including LGBTQ+ communities, Latine clients, youth, and people impacted by HIV - the Training and Development Specialist helps improve service delivery, strengthen team performance, and promote equity across all levels of the department.
The Training and Development Specialist enhances the reputation of AHF by ensuring that staff are well-prepared, culturally competent, and confident in delivering high-quality services to the communities we serve. By creating impactful training programs rooted in equity, trauma-informed care, and public health best practices, this role helps foster a workforce that is both skilled and compassionate.
