What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will design, develop, implement, and maintain safety training programs across LGUS
  • Partner with SH&E leadership, operations teams, and subject matter experts to identify training needs
  • Develop new safety training courses and update existing content to align with SHEQ standards, regulatory requirements, and operational risks
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are accurate, consistent, and effective
  • Further, you will manage safety training courses, participant rosters, and training records within designated learning management systems
  • Maintain SH&E training platforms, including the SH&E training site and NESO Launch Pad
  • Support monthly safety meetings by preparing, organizing, and distributing training content and communications
  • Provide onboarding and training support for new SH&E managers and specialists on training systems, reporting tools, and compliance requirements
  • Track training completion, participation, and effectiveness; analyze trends and recommend improvements
  • And you will troubleshoot training system and data issues, partnering with system owners to implement enhancements
  • Ensure safety training programs support audit readiness and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement of training processes, systems, and content to strengthen organizational safety performance

What makes you great
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Safety, Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree is preferred
  • More than seven (7+) years of experience in training program design, development, and administration
  • Experience developing safety, compliance, or technical training programs in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • You have a strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
  • Knowledge of safety, SH&E, and compliance training requirements
  • Experience managing training content and learning management systems (LMS)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • You have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on training effectiveness and operational excellence
