Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Developer to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and implement advanced training programs that enhance the knowledge and skills of our workforce. Leveraging your expertise in instructional design and technology, you will create engaging learning experiences that drive both individual and organizational performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of comprehensive training curricula and materials tailored to diverse learning styles and audience needs
Employ advanced instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create interactive and impactful training solutions
Utilize e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver training content
Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and training requirements
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, refining content as needed
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and webinars, fostering an engaging and collaborative learning environment
Mentor junior training developers, sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in training delivery
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of experience in instructional design, training development, or related field
Prior FAA or Avionics experience
Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models
Proficiency in e-learning development tools and LMS platforms
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and content creation
Experience in assessing training effectiveness and implementing improvements
Preferred:
Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
Experience with responsive design and mobile learning development
Familiarity with emerging technologies in training, such as virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR)
History of working in a remote or hybrid training environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
