Bookkeeper

$50,000–$60,000 Annual Salary

Join a Growing Colorado Company

This is a full-time position requiring local candidates. The initial training is mandatory and will be conducted in-house. Once training and duties are established, this position will be primarily remote. While most work can be performed from home, candidates must be available for our monthly leadership meeting and occasional in-person meetings as business needs require.

Burns Auto Group is a growing family of seven independently branded automotive repair shops across Colorado. We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to help keep our financial records accurate while supporting a company that values integrity, teamwork, and long-term relationships.

What You'll Do
  • Manage daily bookkeeping and general ledger entries
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Assist with payroll support and payroll reconciliations
  • Maintain vendor records and payments
  • Record journal entries and month-end close activities
  • Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
  • Help maintain accurate financial records for multiple business locations
  • Work closely with ownership and management on financial questions
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online preferred)
  • Excellent Excel and spreadsheet skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multi-location bookkeeping experience
  • Experience supporting payroll
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required
