ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Phil Mcdonald - State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified, knowledgeable, and empathetic professional for the role of Life/Health Insurance Position - State Farm Agent Team Member. As a customer-oriented expert, you will market Life/Health insurance products (including Medicare supplement plans) to support customers and their families. You’ll also help clients navigate long-term care needs and expand their coverage options with confidence.
This role is ideal for someone who either understands Medicare supplements or can quickly grasp and follow a proven process with training. We’re looking for someone sophisticated, confident, and capable of moving production forward while delivering a trusted experience to every client.
As a strategic and emotionally intelligent resource to the community, we are excited to grow our successful agency with your skillset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Offer life, health, and Medicare supplement insurance policies to new and existing customers
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses to identify solutions across life, health, Medicare supplements, and long-term care
  • Explain policy features, benefits, costs, and exclusions in a clear and confident manner
  • Assist customers with claims, policy changes, and ongoing service needs
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Life/Health insurance license, Series 6/63/65 is a plus
  • Ability to understand and explain complex insurance and Medicare products
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven sales experience, ideally within insurance or financial services
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-through abilities
  • Ability to build rapport, inspire trust, and maintain long-term relationships
