The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) Central Office, located at the Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO, is currently conducting a recruitment search for the Training Specialist position within our Human Resources Division. This role is instrumental in designing and delivering instructional and training services to employees across the organization. Qualifications:
Training & Development Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in training, instructional design, or a related field.
Instructional Design & Assessment: Experienced in using ADDIE and/or SAM methodology and training assessments to identify needs and build practical, impactful learning solutions.
Digital Learning & Accessibility: Skilled in administering LMS platforms like Moodle, Blackboard and webinars to deliver engaging online courses, including multimedia content integration and 508 compliance.
Communication & Presentation: Strong verbal and written communication skills; excels in delivering clear, engaging in-person and virtual presentations to diverse audiences.
Employee Recognition Programs: Experienced in designing and managing awards and recognition initiatives to enhance engagement.
Organization & Multi-tasking: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple training projects and priorities effectively.
