MTC is proud to operate the Clearfield Job Corps Center in Clearfield, UT where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. We value our professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people's lives and we want YOU to join our team!
What you will be doing: Directly managers the supervisors of career technical training, secretary, scheduling clerk, OTP/ college coordinators, work base learning coordinators, and substitute instructors. Responsible for management of training which includes other training providers (OTP), and career technical training programs in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential functions:
  1. Plan, coordinate, and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the training/ transitions department programs.
  2. Maintain liaison and coordination with national training contractors, oversee career technical skills training (CTST) program
  3. Evaluate and assess class loading, make recommendations to ensure class ratios are maintained according to pllicay and requirement handbood (PRH) guidelines
  4. Review and be familiar with all applicable reports and ensure action is taken when needed; tarack OTP, and career technical training performance
  5. Provide staff traiing, both group and individual, in effective classroom management, and other subjects necessary for staff to effectively conduct assigned programs
  6. Provide career technical training orientation for new students and staff

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of related experience, three of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management.
