Job Description Summary:

The Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) Manager leads all ASP operations for Westech International, Inc under a U.S. Army's Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) Logistics Support Services contract. . The role supports company management by applying a solid working knowledge of Army ammunition procedures, policies, and precedents. This position ensures operational requirements are met across three supply points (Wheeler, LLL, PTA) in compliance with Army regulations, the performance work statement (PWS), and company policies. Responsibilities include managing and overseeing technical supply management functions, including inventory management, storage, cataloging, and property utilization for depot and ammunition supply activities.


Essential Duties/Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe receipt, storage, issuance, shipping, inspection, handling, inventory, and turn-in of Class V conventional ammunition.
  • Provide safe, timely, cost-effective, and environmentally sound Theater Storage Area (TSA)/Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) operation services, including stock control, inventory, requisition, stock accounting, receiving, shipment, and warehousing tasks.
  • Perform packaging, blocking, bracing, magazine security, fire prevention, fire mitigation, routine maintenance of real property, and demilitarization (DEMIL) of ammunition residue and inert items.
  • Establish training plans and provide employee training on ammunition and explosives (AE) in accordance with DA PAM 385-64, AMC Reg. 350-4, and other relevant guidance.
  • Complete and manage Command Oriented Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) Security Screening and Evaluation Records (DA Form 7281), ensuring updated checks every three years per AR 190-11.
  • Conduct inspections of stockpiles, including periodic inspections (PI), damage-in-transit inspections (DIT), initial receipt inspections (IRI), pre-issue inspections (PII), and receipt inspections (RI).
  • Oversee motor vehicle inspections for hazardous materials transport and unit turn-ins with final approval by QASAS.
  • Provide day-to-day technical and operational guidance and government oversight functions.
  • Supervise and operate the Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS) to post daily transactions and process suspension and restriction notices in compliance with AR 710-2, DA PAM 700-16, and TB 9-1300-385.
  • Manage Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) operations to maintain and prioritize ammunition stock objectives.
  • Ensure proper marking, packing, crating, and handling of munitions shipments following CFR 49, MIL-STD-129, and Army Materiel Command (AMC) regulations.
  • Coordinate documentation and shipping of Class V requirements per AR 710-1, AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, CFR 49, and other policies.
  • Oversee processing of Ammunition Transfer Records and ensure reporting aligns with AMC Reg. 740-25 and 740-27.
  • Provide ammunition amnesty services to handle non-documented munitions as needed.
  • Support tasks directed by the Government COR, Ammunition Accountable Officer, or Contracting Officer.



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in Army ammunition, supply inventory management, and working with military customers.
  • Must be able to obtain a favorable Personnel Reliability Program background screen (DA Form 7708)
  • Must possess a current Hawaii State driver'sย 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications,ย 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including data collection and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
