Job Summary: Cementing Bulk Plant Operator - Prudhoe Bay, AK
About the Role
Join a leading energy services team as a Cementing Bulk Plant Operator in Prudhoe Bay, AK. If you thrive in a structured field environment, value safety, and enjoy hands-on, high-impact work, this is your opportunity to play a critical role in cementing operations that drive the energy sector forward. Competitive pay ($24-$29/hr), 12.5-hour shifts on a 3x3 rotation, and continuous career development await motivated team players.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cementing bulk equipment following procedural standards
- Accurately calculate load-out sheets and operate bulk plant machinery safely
- Monitor, maintain, and perform daily checks on all plant equipment
- Blend and mix bulk materials for wellsite delivery based on job design
- Coordinate with logistics and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery
- Track and update inventory levels daily to meet operational demands
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel for precise material preparation
- Complete monthly inventory and daily goods tracking paperwork
- Store and label additives properly; manage safe disposal of empty containers
- Support training and mentoring of new operators and trainees
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and company policies
- Participate actively in quality improvement and risk analysis programs
- Uphold high standards of quality control and regulatory compliance
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with material handling or cementing operations
- Strong mathematical abilities for accurate calculations
- Effective verbal, written, and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to follow and apply HSE policies daily
- Capable of operating in a field/onshore environment with long shifts
Preferred Skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation
- Exposure to oil & gas industry logistics
