Summary
Must be highly mobile to provide on-site event coverage. Duties require walking, standing for extended periods, and carrying digital media equipment (e.g., cameras, gimbals, tripods) during events. Work is performed in a mix of office settings and on location at various indoor/outdoor events. Must be able to work an irregular tour of duty, which includes after-hours, weekends, and holidays to provide live streaming and media support for FSS activities.

Production & Editing: Works under the Marketing Director to create/modify digital images, graphics, and storyboards. Digitizes, edits, and mixes audio, video, and visual recordings (incorporating special effects, animation, and music libraries).
Prepares raw footage into polished products that meet industry standards.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Technical Operations: Operates standard photography and motion picture equipment. Configures peripheral lighting, sounds equipment, and determines optimal camera angles/shot sequencing. - Identifies and prepares script breakdowns, shot lists, and special effects.
Coordination & Compliance: Reviews/edits photos, scripts, and media to ensure alignment with FSS communication themes, protocols, and policies. Research subject matter and arranges specialized equipment for unique assignments.
Field Support: Attends community events and programs to provide active media coverage. Authorized to operate government vehicles (e.g., light trucks, sedans, golf carts) to support transport and field operations.
Core Experience: Progressively responsible professional photography and videography experience.
Portfolio Requirement: Must provide a portfolio showcasing a diverse collection of well-executed photos and videos.
Software Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.) or other professional editing software.
Equipment Operation: Hands-on experience operating a variety of cameras and related video equipment.
