Job description

Concierge Pediatrics - Innovative Healthcare Solutions

Our organization stands as one of the largest non-profit health systems in the United States, renowned for its excellence in research and education, as well as its high-quality patient care. We are committed to tradition, yet we actively seek individuals who are eager to innovate and enhance healthcare delivery. Our focus is on improving value and service in healthcare by collaborating with employers and offering exceptional patient-centered care through advanced health centers and concierge programs.

Position Overview

We are in search of a Primary Care Physician to deliver concierge-level primary and preventive care to both adults and children at a state-of-the-art health center located on the East side of Manhattan, as well as in patients' homes. The primary goal is to ensure a premium patient experience for a dedicated group of member/patients, including families.

Much of the care, especially for children, will be provided in the home setting. Clinical performance will be assessed based on patient satisfaction, emphasizing longer appointment times and coordinated follow-up care rather than traditional metrics like RVUs and productivity.

About Our Adolescent Health Center

The Adolescent Health Center offers essential services aimed at promoting wellness among young individuals. We provide high-quality, comprehensive, integrated, and confidential care at no cost to those who visit our center or school-based health facilities.

Our center is dedicated to advancing adolescent health as a national priority, serving as a leading hub for clinical care, specialized training, innovative research, and advocacy.

About Our Multi-Specialty Practice

Located in Brooklyn, our multi-specialty practice is committed to delivering exceptional "whole person" healthcare. Situated at 300 Cadman Plaza West, we serve a diverse community and are conveniently close to various neighborhoods, offering a vibrant array of dining, nightlife, and shopping options. The nearby waterfront features parks, sports fields, and playgrounds, providing stunning views of the city. Additionally, there are top-rated public and private schools within walking distance, along with numerous cultural attractions such as the Brooklyn Academy of Music and the Mark Morris Dance Studio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding primary pediatric care.
  • Deliver primary care to children through both traditional in-person visits and non-visit-based interactions (e.g., phone, digital messaging, and video consultations) for a specific population of practice members, including children from birth to 18 years old.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to help patients and families understand diagnostic tests and treatments, navigate all aspects of care, and prepare for specialty medical appointments.
  • Initiate timely referrals to specialty services and maintain regular communication with specialists to ensure continuity of care.
  • Offer concierge-level service at all times, including 24/7 phone availability for a dedicated patient panel and advocate for patients within the broader healthcare system.
  • Perform other relevant professional duties as needed, including liaising with external medical consultants, hospitalists, and emergency room providers to ensure timely and appropriate care and an excellent patient experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with health center staff in all aspects of patient care.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a continuity panel of pediatric patients (specific to Concierge roles).
  • Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of a New York Medical License or eligibility for licensure.
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from $143,000 to $400,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits. The salary range is provided to comply with New York City’s Salary Transparency law. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as experience, specialties, historical productivity, and community needs. Therefore, actual compensation may be closer to either end of the range or, in some cases, may fall outside of the listed range. This salary range applies to full-time employment and does not include bonuses or benefits.

Equal Opportunity Commitment

We are an equal opportunity employer, adhering to all applicable federal civil rights laws. We do not discriminate or treat individuals differently based on race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Our organization is dedicated to creating an environment where all faculty, staff, students, trainees, patients, visitors, and the communities we serve feel respected and supported.

If you are interested in this position, please specify the job title and submit your CV along with a cover letter to our recruitment department.
