Facility: Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin
Department/Specialty: Cardiovascular Intermediate Care
Schedule: Night shift | Full-time 36 hours (3 - 12 hour shifts) - 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Rotating weekends, with 7 day per week availability
Cohort Start Dates: September 14 and October 12

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Participate in the Registered Nurse Fellowship Program designed for Registered Nurses (RN) with more than one year of experience transitioning into a new clinical specialty.
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), delivering safe, compassionate, person-centered nursing care while supporting positive patient outcomes.
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), communicating changes promptly to the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team.
  • Implement patient care plans, carry out physician and nursing orders, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, coordinated, high-quality patient care.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
