Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around delivering personalized psychotherapy services to individuals grappling with various mental health issues. Specific tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of each student and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), grounded in best practices.
• Maintaining compliant and accurate clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and privacy are prioritized.
• Engaging in regular consultations with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to promote coordinated care and treatment effectiveness.
• Participating in case reviews and peer feedback sessions to enhance service quality and share knowledge within the team.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health concerns, treatment avenues, and community resources available to support their journey.
• Staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health care to continuously improve your clinical practice.

As an LCSW at KCPro, you will work predominantly with school-aged children and adolescents, as well as their families. You will be equipped to manage a diverse array of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to behavioral issues, all while fostering a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and resilience among young clients.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience focusing on providing psychotherapy services, particularly in a youth or school-centered setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, fostering effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to assess patient needs and adapt treatment approaches.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Additional experience in school-based mental health interventions or community outreach programs would be a plus. Familiarity with digital mental health tools and platforms can enhance your effectiveness in this remote setting.
