As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect, test, sample, and sort products against customer specifications, technical requirements, and marking standards while partnering closely with the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer. What You Will Do?
As Quality Inspector, you will:
  • Inspect, test, sample, and sort products to ensure they meet customer specifications, technical requirements, and quality standards.
  • Use gages, coordinate measuring tools, point verification methods, and optical comparator equipment to confirm product compliance.
  • Review protocols, qualifications, validation procedures, inspection reports, and findings to support accurate documentation and corrective action.
  • Audit and monitor quality requirements by performing detailed inspections of machined goods in line with company quality policies and customer specifications.
  • Investigate nonconforming materials, support issue resolution, and help ensure final inspection clearance.
  • Verify that goods comply with internal requirements, customer requirements, and applicable federally regulated protocols.

As Trainee Quality Engineer, you will:
  • Perform complex surface plate layouts and support inspection planning for parts with guidance from Process Engineering.
  • Program and operate CMM equipment, with MODUS, PC-DMIS, or PolyWorks experience considered a plus.
  • Generate Material Review Board documentation, recommend solutions, and assist in writing rework and repair procedures.
  • Support quality system compliance by communicating requirements and changes, reviewing supplier certifications, and issuing corrective action requests when needed.
  • Partner with suppliers and internal teams to ensure drawing, specification, inspection, import, export, and Quality Management System requirements are met.
  • Complete internal audits, support product delivery documentation, and take on additional quality projects or duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring?
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering, or at least 5 years of related experience as a Quality Inspector or CMM Inspector.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and NADCAP quality standards.
  • The ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information, including safety, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals, technical reports, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
  • Experience with tooling design, including machine fixtures and inspection gages.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in inspection and documentation activities.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and quality stakeholders.
  • Comfort applying basic math concepts, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, to inspection and quality-related work.
  • Sound reasoning and critical thinking skills, with the ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions and solve standardized quality problems.
  • Preferred experience with Absolute Arm/FARO arm portable CMM equipment.
  • Preferred surface plate layout experience.
