What are the typical responsibilities of a trainee process engineer during their first year on the job?

In their first year, a Trainee Process Engineer typically supports senior engineers by collecting and analyzing process data, assisting in troubleshooting production issues, and participating in process improvement projects. They often spend time shadowing experienced team members to learn about equipment, safety procedures, and industry regulations.
