Marina Plumbing Technician Trainee

Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Travel: Approximately 25% throughout Florida (including overnight travel)

Not All Plumbing Careers Are the Same.

Most plumbers work in houses or commercial buildings.

We build the infrastructure that keeps Florida's marinas operating.

At Lincoln Marine, we specialize exclusively in marina plumbing—installing potable water, fire suppression, standpipe, and sewer systems on docks and waterfront facilities throughout Florida.

Our projects include some of the state's premier marinas, yacht clubs, resorts, and waterfront developments. Engineers specify our best practices. Fire inspectors recognize our workmanship. Contractors trust us with their most challenging marine projects.

We're looking for someone who wants to become one of the best in this specialized trade.

What You'll Do

As a Marine Plumbing Technician Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced technicians to learn every aspect of marina plumbing, including:

  • Potable water systems
  • Fire suppression and standpipe systems
  • Sewer collection systems
  • HDPE fusion and installation
  • Reading construction plans and layouts
  • Installation of specialized dock plumbing infrastructure
  • Safe work practices on floating docks and over-water construction

Every project is different. Every marina presents unique challenges. You'll gain experience that very few plumbers ever have.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years Minimum plumbing or construction experience.
  • Valid Florida driver's license.
  • Clean driving record for the past three years.
  • Able to swim.
  • Comfortable working on and around water.
  • Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time, including overnight travel throughout Florida.
  • Able to lift 75 pounds and perform physical work outdoors.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Drug-free workplace.
  • No smoking or vaping while working or in company vehicles.
