Pay Rate: $41.65 – $46.26/hour (NOOT – No Overtime, No Benefits)


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Trainer – Pipe Fitting to plan, develop, and deliver technical training programs for field support personnel and customers. This role focuses on pipe fitting processes within manufacturing and production environments and requires hands-on, classroom, and on-the-job training expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and coordinate in-house product training programs
  • Prepare training materials, course content, lesson plans, and training aids
  • Determine training methodologies and evaluate training effectiveness
  • Conduct classroom, skills, and on-the-job training in assembly and production areas
  • Support implementation of new training programs, processes, and manufacturing sequences
  • Maintain training rosters, examination results, and certification records
  • Monitor trainee progress and ensure compliance with training requirements
  • Continuously update training content to reflect new processes and technical changes

Shift Options

Candidates must be able to work one of the following schedules (Monday–Thursday):

  • First Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Travel Requirement

  • Yes – Up to 4 months of training in Virginia, followed by return to Charleston, SC

Work Environment

  • Primary Work Location: Charleston, SC (post-training)
  • Onsite Role: Remote work is not available
  • Facility Access: Elevator available

  • 3M Speedglas PAPR 9100MP Adflo (Health & Safety approval required)

  • Nano-Lok Edge Twin-Leg Personal Self-Retracting Lanyards
  • MSA Skull Gard Hard Hat (appropriate size)
  • Welding shield compatible with MSA Skull Gard Hard Hat
  • 3M PELTOR Optime 95 Earmuffs (earplugs not permitted)
  • Kleenguard Calico safety glasses
  • Steel-toe boots

Basic Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
    OR
  • 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s degree
