Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled overhead crane with proven experience in a steel environment.

Duties

  • Operate cranes.
  • Loading, unloading, and staging materials.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery on job sites.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate lifting operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Assist in the assembly and disassembly of rigging equipment as needed.
  • Ensure that work areas are kept clean and organized.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role involving heavy machinery operation.
  • Proven experience in a steel/pipe environment.
  • Valid crane operator certification or relevant licenses preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to crane operation and heavy machinery use.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
