Job description

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for recruitment within our Internal Manufacturing organization predominantly focusing on Craft, Engineering, CAD, and Operational roles across all levels (Coordinator through Manager/Director), as well as include leading recruitment for our Summer Internship Program for Industrial Internal Manufacturing. They will partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify talent needs and provide strategies to attract and recruit top talent. They will source talent via partnerships like career fairs and professional organizations, as well as through internal development programs for early career talent. They will also contribute to broader ad hoc HR projects and cross-functional initiatives in support of organizational priorities.

Key Accountabilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Partner with HR and business leaders in Industrial to implement strategic and creative recruiting strategies to attract and hire top talent.

  • Provide strategic and creative methodologies for recruiting top talent.

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment activities: reviewing job descriptions, intake conversations with hiring managers, posting roles on the careers site, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating various interview formats and hiring assessments, negotiating offers, managing background screenings and follow-ups, planning and conducting first-day onboarding, and completing I-9 verification while proactively maintaining communication with hiring manager throughout the recruitment process.

  • Help build pipeline for future roles by scheduling exploratory calls with potential future candidates.

  • Offer options on sourcing techniques, including investigating new technologies and practices for reaching top talent.

  • Collaborate with HR partners on specific staffing strategies for volume hiring, hard-to-fill positions, background check standards.

  • Stay informed on applicable laws and regulations related to recruitment across local regions, as well as maintaining proficiency in HCM platforms and applicant tracking systems.

  • Run referral reporting and ensure employee referral payments are complete.

  • Support the relocation process for new hires by partnering with the relocation vendor.

  • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring new hire sign-on bonus payments are complete.

Project/Adhoc Support:

  • Provide project and ad-hoc HR support in partnership with HRBPs (e.g., process improvements, reporting, communications, and coordination of cross-functional initiatives), as needed.

Employer Branding and Partnerships:

  • Improve opportunities with university partnerships, professional organizations, DEI organizations, and other early career networks.

  • Build relationships with outside organizations such as HBCU First, universities, and TA external vendors.

  • Engage in career fair events within the supply chain and manufacturing industry to expand the pool of potential candidates, including Manufacturing Day and all job fairs.

  • Partner with the broader GTA team on ad-hoc projects such as Talent Acquisition learning labs.

  • Support the Early Career programs and LVMH career initiatives (Excellence Program, Bench Jeweler Apprenticeship Program, etc.), including serving as the Excellent Program Lead.

  • Manage all grants and reimbursements from the Department of Labor (DLT) for all trainee and upskilling programs for craftspeople. This includes completing applications, diligent follow-up with relevant parties, and owing the entire process until full reimbursement is granted for all training cycles.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or relevant work experience

  • 3+ years' experience with full lifecycle recruitment

  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems, ideally Oracle

  • Ability to review data, analyze, make recommendations, and influence decision making

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills and proven ability to establish relationships

  • Strong customer service orientation, ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and desire to deliver end-to-end solutions

  • Proficiency in Spanish, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with a diverse candidate pool and support outreach initiatives, particularly within communities where Spanish is a primary language

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with full lifecycle recruitment within Supply Chain

  • Project management experience

  • Prior experience in broader HR functions.
