Summary

This is an advanced specialty training position with individualized learning and experience goals designed to allow the incumbent to develop advanced skills in a specific subset of their career. This allows a period of additional training in a specific area of practice, research, or scholarly activity, not fully covered during a specialty Fellowship or other trainee appointment. These instructor-members have completed all required formal training in hematology and/or medical oncology. Some of their clinical responsibilities and expectations are similar to those of an Assistant Member. However, some portion of their time is dedicated to additional training within the identified target area. The training component is overseen by one or more Academic Faculty (MMG) under the direction of an appropriate Institutional Leader. The Fellow/Instructor practices medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center. Provides patient care under auspices of Moffitt Medical Group and serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise, advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. The position may span the clinical and research enterprise, and supports patient care, research, and education. The Department Chair will allocate the position's effort between clinical, research, educational, and administrative activities. Qualifications: Education/Licensure: MD or Equivalent Florida Medical License

Salary Range

$83,200.00 - $153,920.00

Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
