Trainee Offshore NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Inspectors are entry-level professionals who learn to assess the integrity of structures and equipment on offshore platforms, such as oil rigs, without causing damage. Their main role is to assist experienced inspectors in performing tests like ultrasonic, radiographic, or magnetic particle inspections to detect flaws or weaknesses in materials. Trainees receive on-the-job training while gradually learning to operate specialized equipment, follow safety protocols, and document inspection results. This position is ideal for those interested in technical work, safety, and offshore environments.
