Job description

What You Will Do:

The Quality and Process Engineering (Q&PE) organization is looking for a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) L3 module center support who will work with internal P&W business units, suppliers and partners to develop and continuously improve NDT systems. As a member of the Q&PE NDT team, you will perform NDT audits and certifications, provide technical guidance, inspection system oversight, and drive process improvements. Specific NDT L3 proficiencies considered are Etch, FPI, ECI and X-ray, specifically film, digital and computer radiography.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Currently hold Level 2 or Level 3 certification in an NDT method.
Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with training, personnel testing and auditing NDT systems.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge and experience with root cause and process control tools.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft suite.
Benefits:

The salary range for this role is $107,500 - $204,500. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent on the business unit and collective bargaining agreement.
