A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join our lab team! This position is responsible for conducting a variety of tests on patient samples (blood, various body fluids, cells, and tissue, etc.) to detect the presence or absence of health conditions. Microbiology experience preferred
Position Specifics:
Department: Lab
Core Function: Laboratory
Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week, Day shift, every 3rd weekend
Facility: St. Vincent's Hospital
Location: Green Bay, WI
Education Qualifications
  • Associate's degree and successful completion of a National Accreditation Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) accredited medical laboratory technician program is required, OR
  • Associate's degree and at least 60 academic credit hours including 6 hours chemistry and 6 hours biology and successful completion of 50 week US military medical laboratory training course, or Associate's degree and at least 60 academic credit hours including 6 hours chemistry and 6 hours biology and 3 years full time lab experience in an accredited laboratory within the last 10 years.
  • Physician Practice: Associate's degree in Laboratory Sciences (including chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory) is required.
Experience Qualifications
  • 1 year of internal service as a Medical Laboratory Technician I (MLT I) within HSHS laboratories is required.
  • 3 years total Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Medical Technician or Medical Laboratory Technician certification is required by a nationally recognized certifying agency such as: - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) - National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NCA) - American Medical Technologies (AMT) - Department of Health, Education and Welfare (HEW) - or other laboratory certifying agency is required.Physician Practice: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification is required.
