As part of our emergency department, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC charting system.
  • Respond quickly to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-treatment care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
  • Active New York Single State RN license (NY is not Compact).
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
  • EPIC charting experience is required.
  • Ability to work 11a–11p alternating with 7p–7a shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong clinical skills in managing acute psychosis, arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients.
  • Skilled in handling emergency situations such as drug overdoses, gunshot wounds, and traumatic injuries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
