Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Logistics Trainee to join our team with a focus on supporting challenges within our driver hiring and retention space. This developmental role offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive business knowledge while learning how HR successfully partners with the business to achieve our goals. This role will gain exposure to all aspects of HR operations while developing specialized expertise in HR analytics, engagement and retention via the completion of a formal curriculum and training opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Workforce Analytics & Metrics Review
  • Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of driver staffing, retention, turnover, and compliance metrics, Document current state of engagement programs, including compliance, quality, and impact
  • Produce thorough summaries of analytics, highlighting trends and identified actions and employ appropriate resources from HR, Operations and other supporting functions to address as needed
  • Develop deep understanding of our business operations, culture, and organizational structure to learn how different departments and product lines approach associate engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with functional leaders and product line partners to understand their unique staffing and engagement challenges and best practices
  • Analyze process and program effectiveness through data review, associate feedback, and stakeholder interviews
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate inefficiencies while maintaining program effectiveness
  • Support implementation of approved process and program enhancements

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required - in Human Resources, Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Change Management or related field is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership through school, your community, clubs/organizations, or the military
  • Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to learn and navigate various technology platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; Experience in Smartsheet preferred.
  • Committed to learning and growing; receptive to feedback and developing self-awareness.
  • High level of commitment to operation and job responsibilities.
  • Results oriented, attention to detail and effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Builds and develops positive working relationships within department at all levels.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
