IT Systems Administrator

Commercial Credit Adjusters Ltd. (CCA) is growing and were looking to add a skilled and motivated IT Systems Administratorto our team! Job Summary:


The Systems & Network Administrator / IT Analyst (reporting to the IT Manager) will play a key role in maintaining, securing, and improving CCAs IT infrastructure. Youll be responsible for supporting both our head office and satellite locations, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and running efficiently.

What the Role Involves

As an ITSystems & Network Administrator, you will:

  • Manage and maintain enterprise networks including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and related infrastructure
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD (Entra), DNS/DHCP, and authentication services
  • Understanding and experience with RBAC
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Support and optimize virtualization platforms including Hyper-V and VMware
  • Maintain and support cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS
  • Perform system hardening, vulnerability management, and security audits
  • Manage identity and access controls (IAM) and enforce cybersecurity best practices
  • Maintain VEEAM backup systems and ensure disaster recovery procedures are documented and tested
  • Oversee endpoint deployment, patching, and lifecycle management
  • Administer content in platforms such as Drupal
  • Support collaboration and conferencing systems
  • Develop automation tools using Python and related technologies
  • Act as the primary liaison with vendors and third-party technical partners
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting support for escalated technical issues
  • Lead infrastructure upgrades, IT projects, and system implementations
  • Train, mentor, and support junior IT team members

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Several years of experience in systems or network administration
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Azure, and PowerShell
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, system hardening, and vulnerability management

The following would be considered assets:

  • Industry certifications such as Azure, AWS, VMware, Security+, or CISSP
  • Experience with CMS/LMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, or Moodle
  • Programming or scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or web technologies
