Job description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist and Endoscopy Anesthesiologist in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Endoscopy Anesthesia Physician in Upper West Side, Manhattan, NY. Join our Anesthesiology team in this premier freestanding ambulatory endoscopy center associated with the Mount Sinai Health System. This role is exclusively focused on providing anesthesia for GI procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs in mostly ASA 1 and 2 patients. This position offers a rare opportunity for clinical excellence in an efficient and physician friendly ambulatory site staffed by one of the most prominent Anesthesiology Departments in the county.

General Anesthesiology in Brooklyn, NY. This is a community hospital that performs a range of general, orthopedic, vascular and urologic surgery, as well as endoscopy and interventional radiology procedures. There is no obstetrics, pediatrics, or cardiac surgery. Call is taken from home and as a small tight knit department there is a major emphasize on collegiality and teamwork. We are seeking a ABA board certified, or board eligible Anesthesiologist comfortable working solo. The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction while being committed to the mission of Mount Sinai Health System. Candidates with existing ties to the Brooklyn community, or who have an interest in creating community relationships are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Staff general operating rooms, interventional radiology and endoscopy

  • There is no Pediatrics, Cardiac, Obstetrics or major trauma

  • Overnight call is from home

  • Collaborate with multi-specialty practice colleagues as an integral part of a world-class health system

  • Fully integrated Epic Electronic Health Record

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University

  • New York Medical License

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology

  • Committed to Mount Sinai Brooklyn and the communities we serve

  • Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills

  • A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation range from 500K to 600K (dependent on the amount of call taken, and not including benefits)
