Job description

UCSF Fresno & Inspire Health – Pulmonary and Critical Care Faculty

The UCSF Fresno Campus and Central California Faculty Medical Group, dba Inspire Health are seeking a faculty member to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The appointee will provide clinical coverage in the intensive care unit, inpatient pulmonary consult services as well as general outpatient pulmonary practice with opportunity to focus on subspecialties like interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, severe asthma/COPD, upper airway disorders, bronchiectasis/NTM disease. Sleep opportunity is available for interested candidates within an ACGME accredited sleep fellowship program. Other duties include teaching, supervision of trainees and clinical research.

UCSF Fresno has residency programs and fellowships across Internal Medicine including Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship. The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program provides clinical care at an affiliate hospital, Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC), a 700-bed Level 1 Trauma Center. The program is located in Fresno, California, a vibrant, growing, but affordable community in the Central Valley of California just a short drive from Yosemite and other famous national parks.

Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine and must be eligible to apply for a California Medical License. The appointee will hold a faculty appointment with UCSF and compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and accomplishments.

For positions exclusively funded by the affiliate organization: Inspire Health provided a reasonable salary estimate for this position $300,000-$450,000.
