Road Driver Associate Trainee (Overnight Shift) - For New CDL Graduates. Duties similar as a Local Linehaul Driver. Must be a recent Graduate from an accredited Tractor Trailer Driving School. Dedicated Home Daily routes hauling freight to terminals/ and meet points in our network. This position is a combination of driving and dock work.

Must have:

  • Certificate of completion
  • Transcripts
  • Letter of Recommendation from Driving school
  • DOT physical Long form- 5 pages

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive various types of vehicles, including but not limited to: dry vans and forklifts
  • Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

Skills:

  • Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and other machinery
  • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
  • Ability to handle various types of cargo, including freight and hazardous materials
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
