We are hiring a Full Stack Developer!
Role: Full Stack Developer
Supporting: Large Financial Services Client
Location: Pensacola, FL (Hybrid - minimum 3 days/week onsite)
Assignment Type: Contract Only
Duration: 3 months (potential for extension)
Role Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (Level 3) with 10+ years of hands-on expertise to join a dynamic engineering team supporting high-impact modernization initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys converting legacy systems into modern solutions, and excels when documentation is limited. You'll collaborate closely with technical peers and stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement custom solutions that improve processes and deliver real business value.
Candidates who exhibit creativity, ingenuity, strong problem-solving instincts, and a genuine passion for development, often shown through personal projects or inventive hobbies, tend to thrive in this environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom full-stack code using approved tools and modern frameworks.
  • Convert older legacy language solutions into modern technologies and architectures.
  • Build solutions in environments where documentation is minimal or nonexistent.
  • Collaborate with team members to determine code structure, logic flows, and naming conventions based on existing patterns.
  • Conduct advanced system analyses, modeling, and requirements gathering.
  • Facilitate and execute user acceptance testing, including test cases and documentation.
  • Plan and support software releases across lower and production environments.
  • Create and maintain detailed deliverables across all SDLC phases.
  • Provide analytical insights, recommendations, and process improvements.
  • Develop project plans and roadmaps to remediate control deficiencies or enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor implemented improvements to ensure outcomes are achieved.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives and contribute knowledge-sharing content.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Expert-level understanding of software development best practices.
  • Extensive experience with modern application development platforms (C# .NET, React, JavaScript, SQL, MongoDB, Azure Cloud, MuleSoft, etc.).
  • Proven ability to modernize legacy systems.
  • Strong experience developing solutions without existing documentation.
  • Ability to work across non-isolated lower and production environments.
  • Skilled in statistical methods, forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and modeling.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience resolving root-cause issues and managing multiple priorities independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience (Master's preferred).
  • Demonstrated passion for development through personal or hobbyist projects.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The pay rate for this position is between $50 and $65 per hour.
  • Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
