Trainee contract game developers often encounter challenges such as adapting to rapidly changing project requirements, managing tight deadlines, and learning new tools or game engines quickly. It's common to work on multiple small tasks or support senior developers, which requires strong communication and time management skills. Building a habit of continuous learning and being open to collaboration can significantly ease the transition into the role.
