About the Role:

We are seeking a Machine Operator II to join our manufacturing team on a dayshift schedule (5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) to support our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for operating CNC tube bending and deburring equipment. While this position involves tube manufacturing, prior experience, specifically in tubing or tubing equipment is not required. We provide comprehensive, on-the-job training for all of our equipment and processes. We are primarily seeking candidates with transferable skills such as machine operation, mechanical aptitude, or aerospace manufacturing experience who are eager to learn and grow within our specialized production environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace manufacturing exposure
  • Certification in machine operation or industrial maintenance.
  • Experience with CNC tubing machines or automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to mechanical systems.
  • Previous experience working in a high mix low volume production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate tube deburring equipment and fitting installation equipment
  • Perform machine programming and VMM (Vision Measurement Machine) programming
  • Fabricate, handle, and move materials to meet production schedules and lead times
  • Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime
  • Ensure all products meet aerospace quality and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes
