Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00PM -1:30AMย

A Day in the Life:
  • Program and operate AXYZ Machine.
  • Operating a variety of laser cutting machines
  • Read and interpret blueprint/shop drawings for machine setup.ย 
  • Set-up and adjust machines to ensure parts are produced according to all quality requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot when issues arise.ย 
  • Ensure productivity and on-time completion of work orders.ย ย 
  • Support new product development; create bill of materials, routings and fixtures for newly released products.
  • Participate in the design of efficient manufacturing processes for new product development.
  • Develop CNC Programs (manually and automatically); utilize software programs to ensure efficient and cost-effective machining of parts.
  • Assist team in other productions requirements as needed.ย ย

What We Are Seeking:
  • 3-5 years' experience programming and operating AXYZ machine.
  • Experience with laser machines
  • Previous experience programming and operating a variety of CNC machines (press, shears, saws) considered an asset.
  • Abilityto read a Tape Measure to 1/16th " or 1 mm.ย 
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret shopdrawings/blueprints.ย ย 
  • Ability to focus on agreed-upon priorities, pay attention to detail that ensures high levels of quality.ย 
  • Mechanically inclined, with knowledge &experience of equipment, tool selection, optimum settings, understanding ofhow things work and why.ย 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and attend to issues as they arise.ย 
  • Shows interest and willingly strive to learn new skills and take on new assignments as the workload dictates.
