Job description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dependable CNC Machine Operator to join our door manufacturing team in North York, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC machinery and the ability to perform door machining operations independently with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, operating, and unloading CNC equipment, performing accurate door cutouts and lock machining, and ensuring all finished products meet quality standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, good mechanical ability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to perform door machining operations according to production requirements.

• Load and unload doors safely onto CNC equipment.

• Pick up doors from skids and properly position them for machining.

• Perform door cutouts, lock machining, and other required machining tasks.

• Complete standard cuts as well as custom/special cuts based on specifications.

• Review work orders and follow production instructions accurately.

• Ensure all measurements, cuts, and machining processes meet quality standards.

• Inspect completed work for accuracy and report any issues or defects.

• Maintain proper operation of CNC equipment and follow safety procedures.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.

• Complete assigned production tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery is required.

• Experience with door manufacturing, woodworking, or similar production environments is an asset.

• Ability to understand and follow work instructions and production drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle doors throughout the workday.
